As we reflect on this past year - the thrill of walking the Red Carpet and the agony of a poorly painted french manicure -  we feel our that our worldly obligation   (to educate women on the importance of being properly accessorized in today's society)  is not yet done.  There are still those who are using the beach tote as carry-on luggage and even others who think that a "clutch" is something in your car!  I know, you're saying..."shut-up!", but it's true.

So, we are tightening up the prongs on our diamond encrusted tiaras and re-ordering our finely tooled, hand-crafted, "regal egg wash cream" linen stationary (tastefully engraved with the family crest) and setting out for yet another year of "good will" handbag missions.  Sort of like, good will ambassadors, but with totally cooler shoes (thanks Jimmy Choo.)

Now, you are probably asking yourself if our travels will be made into the next big TV reality show.  IT WILL NOT!  We will not sell ourselves like a cheap bottle of '64 Parisian Elon-Monpher Chateau Chardonnay just to sell our handbags NOR will we allow our "handbag interventions" to be exploited for financial gain.  However,  we would strongly consider doing a few guest spots on "Blow Out" with Johnathon...

now this would be something for you girls to chat about around the water       cooler on Thursday mornings!

O.K., so back to the goal/mission thing...

We will dedicate ourselves to saving those without "the gift" and (with a 98% potential success rate) will probably change lives for the  better - fashionably speaking.  And, WE WILL NOT REST until every fanny pouch in the world has been properly disposed of by whatever means necessary (with no loss of human life, of course.)

Oh sure, we will have our critics (all of which probably have no personal style, taste or understand the importance of good eye wear - Larry K., you know who you are!)  However, when we see Steven Cojocaru, (our fav) Isaac Mizrahi, or Robert Verde, we know that our work, like theirs, is vitally important and quite frankly, just may make the world a safer place.

As a very wise old man once told us...

"if you're dead, you surely can't buy a handbag - now can ya?"
